As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format (Do NOT submit a file formatted as a PDF).
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font (Times New Roman); employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
A manuscript should contain, in sequence: title, author(s) and their affiliations, email address, abstract, main text, and references. In the case of more than one author, one author should be designated as the corresponding author.
Title page
The title page should include the names and affiliations of all authors, email addresses, ORCID identifiers of all authors, and an abstract of 150 to 250 words. An abstract should not contain undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. The text should be 1.5 spaced. The title page should include 3-5 keywords that should be placed immediately after the abstract.
Language
Manuscripts must be in English as a language for publication. ABMJ requires all authors to edit their work before submission, especially where English is not their first language, to ensure that the academic content of the paper is understood by the journal editors and reviewers. Use British spellings in all cases rather than American spellings.
Format
Article files should be provided in Microsoft Word format adhering to the template for ABMJ.
Article Length
Articles should be between 6,000 and 10,000 words in length. This includes all texts, references, and appendices. Please allow 280 words for each figure or table.
Article Title
A title of not more than fifteen (15) words should be provided.

The manuscript should be organized in the following sequence:

Headings
Headings must be concise, with a clear indication of the distinction between the hierarchy of headings.
The preferred format is for first-level headings to be presented in bold format and subsequent sub-headings to be italicized.
